Leunora Salihu’s sculpture TURM is based on the principle of the module – a recurring element that shapes both form and meaning. The serially arranged ceramic units, with their metallic-glazed surfaces, evoke associations with industrial components, architectural grids, or technical systems. In combination with MDF panels, they form a precisely structured, vertically ascending sculpture that unites constructive clarity with tactile materiality.
The modular logic allows Salihu to explore processes of growth, repetition, and compression – central themes in her artistic practice. Tower exemplifies her ability to conceive sculpture as a spatial structure in which the relationship between body, architecture, and function is continually redefined.
