In October, the fifth and final cycle of Thinking Like a Mountain - The Orobie Biennial will open: promoted by GAMeC - Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo under the artistic direction of Lorenzo Giusti, the project will once again actively engage the communities of the territory, together with the participation of international artists.
In Dalmine, the Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas will create a site-specific installation in the outdoor areas of the Fondazione Dalmine. Collaborating with local associations, the project will take the form of a participatory experience. The work, made from everyday objects and waste materials sourced locally, will explore—often ironically—the notions of progress linked to the industrial imaginary.
