Julian Irlinger is participating in Manifesta 16 Ruhr with a newly commissioned presentation at Kulturkirche Liebfrauen in Duisburg. Bringing together sculpture and moving image, the project continues the artist’s exploration of memory, historical narratives, and the transmission of overlooked stories. Through research-based works that draw on archival materials and visual languages, Irlinger examines how histories are constructed, remembered, and reimagined in the present.
