Howard Brookner’s meticulously restored documentary “Robert Wilson and the CIVIL warS” follows Robert Wilson’s visionary, unfinished opera project “the CIVIL warS: a tree is best measured when it is down,” originally conceived for a complete premiere as part of the 1984 Olympic Arts Festival in Los Angeles.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
