Albrecht Schnider returned from Berlin two years ago to settle down in Hilterfingen, Switzerland, his wife’s hometown. This “homecoming” is reflected in his more recent work, which focuses on landscape. In the exhibition Pathless Landscape, a concentrated ensemble of figurative and landscape motifs in dialogue gives viewers an overview of the current work of one of the major figures in contemporary Swiss painting.
